As the year comes to a close, it’s time to take a look back at some of your favorite camping moments of 2022. While some RVillagers share stories from lengthy, cross-country excursions, others reflect on boondocking trips, unique towns, beautiful landscapes, friends and family, and more.

Our favorite was the snow and ice storms that we encountered in Montana in March, on our way to Canada. —Andy & Maureen T.
I went through Yellowstone National Park this past spring, just a few weeks before the big flood. —Don F.
We did a month-long trip out East from Ontario, Canada, to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. We left Prince Edward Island just before Hurricane Iona came to town. —Joanne L.
We did a 3-week trip from home in North Carolina to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, and back home. —Terry S.

Join the conversationVisiting Yellowstone National Park and having bison walk right next to our car. Then getting to Old Faithful seconds before it erupted with a 4-minute show. This stands out even more because it closed a day or so after we were there due to flooding that washed out roads. —The Traveling Locavores
I went boondocking for the first time at Eldora Speedway for the Eldora Million and the Eldora Dream. —Jeff S.
Being able to travel with my father and visit Lake DeSmet. It was absolutely gorgeous. —Mary E.
We got to see the May flowers at the RV park in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, where we have been seasonal members since 2008. Having our kids and grandkids was a plus. —TheClearyClan
Passing the town of Delight, Arkansas, population 279 and hometown of Glen Campbell, on my way to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. —LillianG
